This is the first in a series depicting a "what if" movie based on The Death of Superman storyline from the early '90s, using the actors from the tv show Smallville. This is meant to be a snapshot from the film.

In the comics, the story goes that Doomsday & Superman fight an epic battle, ending in Metropolis outside The Daily Planet. This is just before the end, Superman has just saved Lois from harm and Doomsday approaches for the final brawl.
